A downloadable game for Windows
As a beta tester forced to work at a restricted company due to your crimes, the company was established to make programs for testing biological feedback within the brain of people and their ability of survival and instincts. As a subject of this company and this program, you are stripped of all records of your name and identity. You must work to test this game until you are told otherwise.
As the company motto; you are expendable...
The game was programmed with ai entities to establish a semi-living threat designed to push your survival instincts within your brain, also known as your FFF, also called Fight, Flight, or Freeze. The program pushes you to your limits as it is not easy.
Every termination in the game is the player at the computer who you play as is an unnamed subject executed for failing this task. Every run you play, there is a new subject forced into this program until the very game over you achieve.
Run through an infinite generating set of mazes while randomly encountering entities throughout your run. These entities are...
Red (Patrolling): As long as Red has a direct line of sight to you, it calculates the absolute shortest path to your exact location and runs straight at you. If you manage to break its line of sight and hide, Red gives up the direct chase and switches into a random patrolling mode, wandering around the maze until it spots you again.
Crimson (Constant): Instead of trying to step directly on top of your tile, Dark Red targets one of the open spaces immediately adjacent to you. This makes it feel like it's trying to trap or corner you rather than just rush you. If that flanking path gets blocked, it falls back to standard shortest-path tracking.
Blue (Retreated): When Blue can see you, it evaluates its surrounding steps to find a position that keeps it at an ideal distance of four tiles from you. If you get too close, it will back away; if you get too far, it will step closer to maintain that sweet spot. If you hide or break line of sight, it immediately drops this behavior and wanders off to patrol.
Purple (Erratic): When deciding where to step next, Purple has two different goals at the same time: it wants to get closer to you, but it also strongly prefers stepping onto tiles it hasn't just visited. This mix of tracking and anti-backtracking makes its movement erratic and much harder to predict compared to Red.
Gray (Stalker): Gray acts like a stalker that changes how it hunts you in three steps: It walks straight toward you until it gets within two tiles of your position, then once it's close enough, it follows you while trying to stay exactly two tiles away. But it needs to see you to do this. If you hide or break line of sight, an aggression timer starts counting down, if you stay hidden long enough for that timer to run out, Gray gets mad and switches back to chasing you aggressively until it finds you again.
The ai for all five entities are affected by the difficulty, mostly being the speed of them. One entity does get a bonus difficulty upgrade which is Gray's aggression timer which is faster depending on what difficulty you are on.
